Getting Into the Holiday Spirit

Yesterday we decided to bundle up and go get our Christmas tree. Two years ago we went to this great little place down the road. We LOVED it. We said that we were NEVER going to go any where else. Last year we went some where else :( I was super pregnant it was last minute and there was a 'snow storm'. We said we would never go back there and that we would go to our little place again....

The little tree farm is in someones back yard.

The boys loved it.
Now we just need to finish decorating it.

Thanksgiving

We went to my Aunt and Uncles for Thanksgiving. Every one was smitten by our boys...do you blame em...

Daddy Time with Boys

Daddy and his boys...

Walking Trail

In September I suprised Jon with a Saturday walk. We got so busy with the begining of school and of course having the two babes. He was saying, "Wow, I can't believe we didn't go on a hike this year. We always go on a hike during the summer." So this particular Saturday I told him that the boys and I wanted to take him out. He had no clue what we were going to do. He kept asking what to wear, what to bring, etc. I told him what he had on was fine. I packed a backpack with his hiking shoes without him seeing and packed it in the car.

We had a blast. We didn't go very far or very long, but it was enough to make Daddy happy.

Halloween

We had two different Halloween costumes. My girlfriend bought us the cutest peas in a pod costumes. I thought that they would be too small for them. They are bunting costumes and I figured the boys would be unhappy in them since they were starting to sit up on their own. Jon and I went to the store to find a second option. I really wanted them to be in the same costume of course...but Jon thought that it would be cute if they just coordinated. This is what we came up with....

Two of the cutest monsters you will ever see...

Micaiah is in the blue and Gunnar is in the green.

And now for the cutest peas in the pod...

After our pictures we went to a Fall Festival. The boys had a blast being monsters...
When we got home they were pooped!
