Snowy Day

Who said you can't do a photoshoot in the snow :)
Jon and I have been really busy trying to baby proof the house. We have one handsome babe that is cruising everywhere, and another handsome babe that is quite content staying put. We were working in the living room and I decided...yet again, it was time for ANOTHER photoshoot. I feel like since I started working in September I have slacked on picture taking :(.
As I was helping move furniture I was trying to think of what to do for this shoot. We were moving the couch away from the window just a little bit and I looked outside at the fluttering snow flakes. It's so cold outside, yet so beautiful with all that snow. I would LOVE to take outdoor pictures of the boys in the snow, but I'm not going to freeze them out there for a shoot, even though it would look awesome. SO, I decided to bring the snow inside.

Ice Day

Like I said, I got to stay home an extra day this week becuase of an 'ice storm'. We got about 2 inches of snow Monday night and then it turned into sleet. I was so happy for the suprise. I love snow days, but at the same time if felt like a waste since I had Monday off for MLK. Who and I kidding, it didn't feel like a waste! It was wonderful! I got to spend another day with my boys.

The boys are getting so big I can't believe it!

Whew, I'm pooped from all that standing :)
After I put the boys down for a nap, I decided I would go outside and do a little photoshoot, without the boys being my subjects.

Remember the Blueberry Girl from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory?

I had a suprise snow day on Tuesday. I enjoyed EVERY unexpected second I got to spend with my boys. Here they are about to turn into blueberries.

Gunnar Shoot

Since I had off MLK day I thought I would do a mini photoshoot. I had one really good subject...Gunnar. Micaiah was a bit camera shy this time around...well, maybe not camera shy...maybe just on the go. I tried to get some of the both of them together, but didn't have much luck.

Last Wednesday we all had a SNOW DAY! We got maybe 6 inches of snow. It was such a beautiful day we decided to take the boys out for their first snow experience.

Gunnar, Micaiah

It was such a process getting them dressed and ready to go. They couldn't move at ALL after they were al bundled up.
Even Sota wanted to play.
After our fun time of picture taking we decided to put the boys on sleds. Of course we knew it wasn't going to work very well, but we had to give it a try. Every time Jon pulled the sle someone would fall over. They giggled the whole time...
until Micaiah face planted...which I don't have a picture of..I do have some video of it.
After Mics face plant we decided to go inside.

Even after a face plant he was a good sport.
