Baby Pool

The further we get into this pregnancy the more often I say to Jon, so...when do you think they are going to be born? I probably ask him this same question, or a question extremly similar to this three times a day. He's gotta be sick of it by now :o

Well a couple of days ago I told him we should have a baby pool. I went online and found this website...so please play...it's fun...for me at least :) Gotta keep mama happy some how :).

New Years

Here are some pictures from New Years Eve...

Now, don't get the wrong idea here... we were being silly... this is sparkling cider... which was oh so yummy! I want more! As I uploaded this picture I was thinking, I really shouldn't post this, people may get the wrong idea... BUT it is a great profile picture of my boys.

(27 weeks pregnant)

I am getting bigger and bigger every day...I'm sure that's expected haha...can't wait to see how much bigger I get!!

I know that it's a new year, and I guess I should have something insightful to say, or at least share a resolution, but all I can think about is THIS IS THE YEAR MY FIRST BORN WILL BE BORN! I should say my first two born will be born :)

We are so excited for what's in store for us!

I can't believe it's taken this long, but people (strangers) are finally asking, oh when are you due, etc. When they find out we are having twins so many of them say, I'm glad it's not me or ha, good luck, you're gonna need it or two-goodness-one was hard enough, and so on. When Jon and I leave that conversations we just start laughing.

We are SO EXCITED that we are having twins! We can't even imagine not. What we can't believe is that D-day is almost here. 2 to 3 more months and our little bundle of boys will be with us!

Christmas

We had a very busy Christmas. So busy I got incredibly sick...YUCK!

We actually didn't even decorate until the Sunday before Christmas. I felt like it was a waste of time...which is sooo sad, because I LOVE to decorate for Christmas. I LOVE November... the first signs of Christmas, but with finishing the kitchen, rearranging the house, trying to get the nursery cleared out, and finishing my last weeks of school (work) I felt like there were more important things to do than put up a tree and pull decorations down from the attic....and to only have them up for only a week or so...there are so many other things that need to get done.

However, Jon's parents and younger brother Lars came out from MN to celebrate with us. So we felt like we needed to decorate. I wish I had pictures of our house decorated...becuase (I think) it actually came out great this year. I think this is the best we have done. The day we finished decorating Jon's family got here, and there was no time for pictures before luggage came in. (I will try to get some pictures after I pick up some...but my picking up might turn into undecorating)

We had a wonderful time with both of our families. It was fun to be all together for Christmas.

Christmas Eve dinner. It came out really yummy! Stuffed pork roll, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, stuffing, and biscuits. May I say again, YUM!

Christmas day we all went to my moms house for a big breakfast and to open presents.
My moms tree with gifts for Mom, Jimmy (big brother), Matthew (little brother), Jason (little brother), Jon (hubs), Linda (Jon's mom), Richard (Jon's dad), Lars (Jon's little brother), Aunt Doris (aunt), AJ (cousin), and Me.

Jon helping my mom with her big breakfast. He stood in the kitchen for like 30 minutes making 3lbs of bacon...WOW.

We had a blast!
