Missed This

Hubs has always missed lake days at his family's lake cabin.  I think that is the thing he missed most when we were living in NJ.  We took the first chance we could to go out to the cabin.  The cabin is actually his grandfathers who inherited it from his father.

The weeks prior to our move all Hubs could say was, I can't wait to spend a day at the lake.  We went out with his parents and younger brother and bride to be.

The water was beautiful.  Those of you that know me, know I hate lakes!  and oceans!  I really only like pools.  I hate not to be able to see what's in the water.  I hate the fact that there are fish or crabs or sharks or seaweed...YUCK!  in the water with me.  Pools are the way to go.  Also, those of you that know me, know that I want the water to be warmer than the air.  The lake was perfect.  I could see through... (still didn't like the fact that there are fish!) and the temperature was great.

When we got there the boys went right in.  They were/are fearless.  We had a couple of face plants and a bunch of mouthfuls of water but they got right back up and went back in.  Swimmies and or little life jacket shirts are in our near future.

I know this isn't a good picture of M, but Hubs looks mighty fine :)

M had a blast playing in the sand.

Doesn't matter where the water is from G loves to drink it... YUCK!

Just because he is SO cute :) I had to crop the picture to get just his cute face.

L is 11 Weeks

My little nugget is getting so big.  I know, I know I say that every week.

I had fun taking his pictures yesterday!  Our house in NJ has NO natural light.  We are temporarily living in Hubs parents house, which is loaded with natural light.  It made for some nice pictures.

L has been seeming to feel a little better the last two days.  I really hope that this continues!

We put L on his tummy for the first time on Monday since his belly seemed to not be giving him any problems at the moment... for the first time on the floor anyway.  We have done his tummy against our tummy, but not straight on the floor.  I've noticed that when he is on his tummy he screams in pain.  Not just screaming because he doesn't want to be on his belly, but screaming because it hurts to be on his belly.

This is not a scream in pain.  This is a grunt because he is trying to roll over.

Ohhh... I think I can do it....

*Grunt....

Here I go...

I did it!

Time to relax before I try again.

Farm

Most of Hubs youth group kids call him Farmer.  They named him Farmer before they even knew he grew up on a farm.

The day after we arrived to MN we took the boys to see all the tractors and combines.

In the red tractor you can sort of make out Grandpa and G.

We went into the barn to see the old tractors.

Awesome old truck that they use to carry water

Daddy brought the boys into the corn.  The dog (Hubs Uncles) followed them in.  The boys got very nervous when they couldn't see him.  They were calling for Bingo (not the dogs name).  G started to go further into the corn yelling for Bingo.  He finally saw Bingo running on the grass again and followed.  I was starting to get nervous that G was going to go in too far and was happy that Bingo emerged.

The boys had so much fun.  They LOVE tractors and combines.  They waved goodbye to all the equipment and were happy to hear they can see it again whenever they want (if Mommy and Daddy agree of course)  :)
