Relaxing

We had such a relaxing weekend last weekend. Unfortunetly I wasn't able to post about it until now. We have had SUCH a crazy week this week and every time I have tried to post I had to get back to my school work.

I already posted about our apple picking trip on Saturday. What fun!

On Sunday we went to church and then a 60th Anniversary dinner afterward. What a long morning. By the time we got home the boys really needed a nap. They missed 2 that morning. So I fed them and we napped. OH did I tell you, we don't hold our babies when it's nap time. We always put them in their cribs awake and let them fall asleep on their own. They are such good sleepers. Anyway, when school started and I went back to work we decided that we were going to have 1 Sunday nap as a family. Jon would hold a boy and I would hold a boy. We haven't gotten the chance to do it much but this Sunday we did. OH, IS IT LOVELY!

After we all woke up I fed the boys. All four of us were still so sleepy. It was such a gorgeous day that we decided to take the boys out back for a little play time on a blanket.

ENJOY the photos! (...I know I do!)

Fall Festivities

It's that time of year. Fall!
I love that the leaves are changing colors and I can still be in a short sleeved shirt at the same time. Jon and I decided to take the boys apple picking. They had so much fun!

We are strapped in and ready to trail the orchard for the best apples we can find.

Daddy thought the boys should try and apple from this tree.

The boys agreed!

Gunnar really wanted to eat it. Jon was shocked that I let him put it in his mouth like that. I was a little suprised too...but he looks so cute!
Micaiah was so tired. He is so good at grabbing toys but he wouldn't even move his arms. I'm really thinking he was asleep with his eyes open. Which wouldn't be suprising becuase they do that all the time... CRAZY!

He was even more shocked that I let him bite a chunk for the boys to 'suck' on for a couple seconds. Gunnar loved it. I was suprised because he doesn't always seem to care for applesauce the same way Micaiah does.
We had so much fun! Now I can't wait to go pumpkin picking!

Mom Mobile

Big news at the Ronnevik house. I got a MOM MOBILE!

Two years ago Jon and I bought me a Dodge Durango. We, I, loved it! I said that I would have the car forever. I also said that it would be perfect for a family. I was WRONG! You know what, it is perfect for a family, just not ours. We weren't expecting to have two babies at one time. I mean who does expect that? Also, I want more babes and I want them sooner than later. Yea I know, I'm crazy!

So after telling Jon in a joking manner that I want a mini van he said, OK, I'll look into them. I was like, WHAT?!? He totally agreed with me and my issues with the Durango not being the most practicle vehicle for our current family and potential expansion.

We knew that this purchase was not necessary. So when we arrived to the dealership on Wednesday evening we knew what we wanted and what we were willing to pay for it and if we didn't get it, then we didn't get it. We already had a great vehicle.

Guess what... We got it. Everything we wanted and at a price we were comfortable with. So Thursday I picked it up and I AM LOVING IT!!!

AND so are the boys!

6 Months

Holy COW! The boys are 6 months. I CANNOT belive how fast this first half of the year has gone!

I totally DO NOT have time to post I am trying to prepare for Back to School Night, but I just HAVE to.

We had a great Well Check visit. The boys got a bunch of shot, OUCH! They are such strong cookies. Mic didn't cry until the 3rd (his last) and Gunnar didn't cry until the second. The doctor kept saying what great, happy babies they are. I was like YEA I KNOW ;0. HAHA

Gunnar weighed in at 18lbs 14oz (75%), 27 3/4 tall (85%) and Micaiah weighed in at 18lbs 2oz (70%), 27 1/4 tall (75%).

The doc said that they are growing perfectly. Again I was like, YEA I KNOW haha.

Here's a quick picture of the cuteness. It's not the best picture, but it's the only one I have on this memory stick. The bulk of this stick is of my students...like I said, I'm suppose to be preparing for Back to School Night.

The End

This was suppose to be posted on Monday, but it was taking forever to download pictures so....now that's it's Thursday...here's the post.

Oh tears are flowing! What a GREAT last day of maternity leave. Jon and I took the boys to the park. We do this quite often, but this was the first time we went on any of the equipment. I didn't bring my camera with me :( but we had Jons phone so some crumy shots were taken but at least I have some pictures!
